Garberville Rotary Club Scholarship Program

Since 1994, the Garberville Rotary Club has partnered with The Humboldt Area Foundation to establish and manage scholarship funds dedicated to supporting local youth in their educational pursuits. Through this collaboration, the Rotary Club of Garberville has proudly awarded over $131,000 to deserving students, with aspirations to surpass the $150,000 milestone in the near future.

The scholarships are made possible through the generous contributions of former Rotary members and community supporters, who have established multiple endowments. Managed by the Humboldt Area Foundation, these endowments generate interest and earnings that sustain the scholarships, ensuring this vital tradition continues year after year.

Continuing Our Tradition of Service

Since its founding in 1938, the Garberville Rotary Club has been committed to supporting local youth and education. Through scholarships and various community projects, the club continues to uphold its motto: "Service Above Self."
